Depending on the quality of storage that you use for barley, you can either reduce the barley quality, if storage conditions are not up to par, or you can increase the maltabilty, if your barley is stored in the right conditions.
At Reed Barley, we understand that quality beer requires the best ingredients. We provide a large storage facility for ABInBev to insure that premium beverages are always the end result. Our barley is used to make premium Anheuser-Busch products, and as a result, we keep pristine storage conditions meant to increase the malt of our barley.
We have a certified ABinBev certified technician (Stacy Allen) who regularly attends AB seminar trainings with licensed whey masters. We also have scales certified by the Idaho Department of Agriculture at all of our locations.
At Reed Barley Storage, we work very hard to maintain a long-lasting relationship with our growers. We take pride in our facility and maintain it to provide our growers the best storage possible.
AS WE APPROCH HARVEST PLEASE BE SURE THAT ALL YOUR TRUCKS ARE FREE OF ANY FERTIZLERS, COM POST, DIRT, SEED! TRUCKS SHOULD ALWAYS BE PRESURED WASHED OUT BEFORE LOADING WITH MALT BARLEY.
